Anyone else having a problem with the New Smyrna site? Everytime I have tried to log onto it this weekend, my anti virus program blocks me.

The website seems to be back to normal now... It appears that it had been hacked sometime around 3:30am on Saturday... The server and website have been scanned numerous times since about 430am Sat. with no malicious code found...

Reports have been submitted to Google (which initially was issuing the warnings) and so far over the past two days we have been unable to find any anomalies within the code.

I just pulled it up and it appears to be fine but we are still working on the issue to insure that it is 100% fixed and doesn't happen again in the future.

My advice would be to ignore the warnings PROVIDED THAT you have up to date Anti-Virus software just to insure that there are no issues.

I don't know, Mark. My anti virus program still blocks me from going there.

I have a fresh install of McAfee that blocked it initially and then approved it so Im not sure what is going with it... Now it is blocking it again...

Unfortunately I can't get hold of anyone at Google until tomorrow to find out exactly where the malicious code is that they flagged and then subsequently how do delete it... The hosting/server company has also been working on the issue with me since yesterday morning and they can't find anything in there logs...

Hope to get it fixed asap but until we find the bad code there is really nothing that we can do.

I do apologize though for the inconvenience and having to go through all this. I will post on here once we can get it straightened out with Google and figure out the permanent fix.

            No problem!!

Hey Mark, its no big deal and I know you're working on it and I know you will get it. Just thought I'd let you know, it's almost impossible for a MAC to get a virus but I'm now getting a message saying: Caution, entering this site may damage your computer. I doubt it would but I've never seen this message before. Just FYI

Thanks UREZ... I passed the error message on over to the Tech's at the Hosting/Server Company to see if they can help me decipher it...

Tuna: Yeah we were having no issues on Mac's most of yesterday and that error started showing up on them late yesterday...

Hopefully we can get some answers early in the AM tomorrow and get this whole mess figured out.

Thanks everyone for your patience... It's times like these that I wish I was a programmer as opposed to just a designer.

I have just finished updateing and re-installing all of the software and plugins that are used for the site and it appears to be working okay on my home machine and on 2 Macs that I have here... If anyone would be willing to do the following to help me see if the site is working, it would be greatly appreciated...

1.) Delete Browsing History including all Cookies and Temporary Internet Files...

                    2.) Restart your computer...

3.) Try visiting the site and see if it loads properly.

Again, if someone would be willing to try this and post the results here, I would greatly appreciate it.

                    Thanks!

Thanks FITZ... I had it working fine for about 15 minutes but now it's back to doing what it was doing before...

Ugh... Just gotta keep plugging away at it I guess!

UPDATE: Late last night our Web Host completed a detailed scan of every page of code contained within the site and DID find some malicious coding...

The site had been hacked several times since early Saturday morning so every time I updated it, 'whoever' would hack it again and re-insert the code...

It appears that it was not a virus that would attack individual computers but rather attempt to redirect users to others sites...

As of this morning, all pages and files that contained the code were quarantined and fixed and all login information and passwords have been changed to thwart the hackers... however we are still waiting on the complete site review from Google before they can/will release the warning from the site...

Hopefully they will get back to us today so that the site will once again be view-able to all without any inconvenience or threats.

Thanks again to everyone for your patience and understanding and I sincerely apologize for this whole mess!
