A recap of what the Pro-Trucks drivers most want from the meeting Sat.
Most of you would think Purse would be #1, but I have to tell you that for the most part, that was not mentioned as the top thing. see below :
1. Fair, consistant, affordable and well enforced rules !
Drivers want grey areas cleared, up. Motor rules fixed and enforced.
Make rules to help keep the truck series affordable and fun.
They want their input to be considered.
2. A set of rules the same that is for the series and all tracks involved
One set of rules, used for series and tracks and enforced the same.
This encluded several specifics that can be ironed out.
3. Want someone to promote the series and trucks.
Someone to over see, promote, seek sponsors, awards etc.
Someone they can call and discuss things, get answers.
Want a tech person for series, that is not tied to any truck or track.
If not someone to work oversee the tech to be sure it is same at tracks.
12-16 race schedule, with a drop race for any personal issues etc.
4. A fair purse to try to help offset the cost of racing.
Drivers want a better purse, but most understand the challenge.
Most know they will not make money at this, but need some help.
Longer tows, please help with extra tow or gas money.
5. Tire prices the same, tire rules enforced the same at all tracks.
If tracks are working together, make prices the same at each.
Enforce the tire rules, the same against soaking, impounding etc.
A tire that is longer lasting to help costs.

Thanks, these things will be forward to the owners, promoters for their consideration. I am hoping to get together with the tech personel to see what we can do on the rules, we have to do this as not to create big cost all at once, but move toward some thing sover a set time agenda.
