Just wanted to let everybody know that the ISC Archives is here to help the general public as well as International Speedway Corporation, its tracks and corporate sponsors as well as the media...
Our facility is located in Daytona Beach, FL about 1/2 mile from Daytona International Speedway...
The Archives was started by the France family several years ago to house the artifacts, photos and general memorabilia collected by the France family over time... Everything is now housed in a 3-Million dollar facility that is totally climate controlled. Along with over 4 million photos, slides and negatives, we have a vault full of old reel-to-reel film, VHS, BETA & 3/4 inch tapes of races going back into the late 40s... Also old memorabilia and trophies as well as old racing programs, magazines, books etc.
We are not open to the public except for a weekly Daytona International Speedway VIP tour that costs $50 (well worth it though) and more information on that is available by going to Daytona's website.
We will gladly research, locate and provide an photos any of you folks using this board would like to have... We don't have everything, but we do have a lot... As long as you are using the photo(s) for personal use, not for commercial purposes, you can request whatever you like...
We can also provide copies of NASCAR rules dating back to 1949...
Photo pricing is as follows:
Black and White:
8X10 - $25
5X7 - $15
Color:
8X10 - $45
5X7 - $30
Other sizes are also available...
Basic research fee is $25
Please contact me by e-mail only with a phone number you can be reached at... e-mail is dwesterman@iscmotorsports.com...
Also, we have a number of old race programs available for purchase... To get a detailed list, just send me an e-mail and I'll forward you the word document. Prices vary due to age and availability.
One thing we DO HAVE here now is a beautiful model of one of Buzzie Reutimann's old coupe Modifieds... proudly on display in our research library thanks to the Model Car Man, Ricky Smallwood!
