    biggie--

friday night at orlando speedworld, a scheduled 50 lapper for the mini-stock boys is in place, it might diminish the field somewhat.

Just wondering. How can a race at Orlando on pavement diminish the field at Volusia on dirt. Do that many asphalt guys race on dirt?? Just asking.

There's not many that i know of that race on both but back when i ran them i had an asphalt and dirt mini for NSS and VCS.The cost to run them just got way out of hand on a workin mans pay so one is gone and the other is setting rusting and outdated...Dont get me wrong if someone has a mini and needed a driver i would jump in and go because there fun to race and i have many wins to prove it...

I never thought about owning one of each. What a shame so many cars are sitting idle now. You are exactly right, seems like the only way a working man can afford to have a race car today is to let it sit out back someplace. On the other hand, how does an owner make payments with no cars/fans? I really miss the minis, they do/did put on a great show. Seems without a good sponsor how can it be done? Somehow the cost of racing MUST drop.
