    The obvious question needs to be asked - is it not counterproductive to have Spec Motors if there isn't going to be a chip on it? Isn't that the whole point of having Spec Motors - they have a chip to keep them in line against 9:1 motors.

    The notion that a spec motor will outrun a 9:1 motor is preposterous.
