As you all know, Jack Smith's computer expertise went far beyond KARNAC... He did a number of other websites and much more over the years... When I first got to using KARNAC and first got to know Jack, he put up a series of my photos on the "History" pages of this site that are still there... After a series of discussions, Jack put together the Flrida Racing History website and turned it over to me... Since then, I have been able to put over 5,200 photos and clipping up on the site (grouped by track)... I continue to update the site with new "old" pictures just about every week and continue to hunt down old photos all the time...
I would now like to put a tribute to Jack Smith up on the site... If you have any old photos of Jack, please send them to me at announcerdave@usa.net for inclusion in a special tribute album... If you know where and when the photo was taken, please include that as well... I know Rick Anges should have a bunch! THANKS
