Saturday October 1st - Auburndale Speedway

The "Save The Trucks" Pro-Truck 50

I will be working to promote this race at a minimum with Rex Guy.

We are working on a purse, I will be trying to get bonus money, award money etc to go with it.

We will be having an early afternoon Open Discussion Meeting about the trucks and a possible series in 2012. I need you to be there, I need you to call, I need you to show you want the trucks to be a great series again.

Many of you have called me, asked me to try to help get the trucks back strong again, please bring your truck and support it, if you just can't atleast come and listen and talk as we try to make this deal work for all our goods.

There may be a Friday Night Practice and Cook out on September 30th, that will be announced.

Hopefully in the days to come we can announce a possible Florida Pro-Truck Triple Crown, 2 more races added to this one at two other tracks. Please stay tuned !

If you have a truck, you want the truck to succeed then you need to be at this event, Thanks !

    Great Ideas!!!!

Great Ideas are needed to pull your division together. The way they are going it will end up as it did across the country. Everyone need to be involved. The Series was one of the strongest in the state. It can be again, but only if you GET INVOLVED. Give Rick your ideas. It your future.

Rick has my surport on this 100% My two trucks will be on hand to race these races for Rick.

I am asking all Pro Trucks Owners/ Dirver help Rick make these races have high truck counts which we all want so please surport what Rick is doing for the Pro Trucks class.

Let get the surport we need to save the Pro Trucks.

          re save ?

its obvious that if you want to save the trucks , just listen to what everyone is saying . you need to de-tune them back to the original low cost affordable class they were intended to be . 305 ci . auto trannys , no trick shocks or high dollar parts and enforce these rules with no exception . this class was let get way out of hand by lack of rule enforcement or common sense . they priced them out of affordability for most . simple easy solution , make it affordable with a level playing field and it will grow . plus you have to realize this class is dominated by kids with little or no experience on the highway which leads to constant wrecks / temper tantrums /destroyed trucks which any parent realizes is a product of inexperience . as racing parents we want our childen to enjoy their dreams but eventually the well runs dry when the costs are escalated by constant rule changes that accomplish nothing other than driving up the costs involved . which has lead to the downfall of the trucks . plus many have moved up to higher divisions and these trucks are for sale at insane prices which deter parents from getting involved . the cheaper a class is , means more can afford to participate . keep it simple , affordable and fun .
