Ivedent Lloyd Wins At New Hendry County Speedway!

Did this race pay 3 or 5 thousand to win? Looked on Ivedent's web and it said he should have been at N. Ga. but they got rained out. So I guess this week they'll run N. Ga., Friday night and Cleveland, Tn., Saturday night. Good luck and be safe.

It payed $5000 to win. We interviewed Ivedent yesterday and he said he got snowed out in Ga. That man was on a rail last night. Peacock and Smith were the only real contenders for the win. Peacock passed him once but the caution flew and Peacok had to return to 2nd. Shawn Smith was fast but he said at the post race interview that the cautions wer killing him. Every time he got some momentum the caution would fly. Last weeks winner at Ocala Shane Williams was caught up in some unfortunate incidents. He had to go to the pits once and when he came back he was a lap down. We had some heads up racing but a lot of cautions, 19 in a 50 lap race. I don't think I remember seeing that many before at least in 50 laps. We had 6 heat races and 2 B mains. 40 cars I think. Was a good night of racing. Bob..........

I might add it was colder than a well diggers butt last night. The computer in my truck said it was 38 when we left at 1:30 am. I had on too jackets and was still cold. The wind was wicked all day.
