What happens if ten more cars show next time how will they start them ? I dont get it. Have they changed the head rule about aluminum heads running 54% left side ? or are they adding 50 lbs in front of flywheel ? I also am willing to work with them but they are isolating good cars that are out there. Many of my fellow mod racers run aluminum heads and a handful run fabricated front clips. They said 53 % for them?? Are the sportsman rules different also ? Can we bring our citrus legal sportsman to bronson ??
I'm just passing along what I have found out as a media person. The Youngs are racing people who are receptive to hearing how they can improve the racing environment at Bronson Speedway for competitors, fans and of course for themselves in the long run. They are sincere in their desire to make Bronson Speedway the premier short track in Florida. Do not hesitate to call and talk with them about your concerns and questions. They are competitor and fan friendly. They also have a Facebook page as Bronson Speedway.

As for division rules, they have been open in their presentation of the rules. Rules have been posted for each class on the Real Racing USA Forum right here on Karnac.com. Read them through if you have not already done so. If you would like to race there and see something in their rules that would stop you call them and let them know. I strongly feel the Youngs are the type of people who would listen, be flexible and work with you. They need cars just as much as you'd like to race at their track. It would be beneficial to both sides.

What's with the Face Book thing? Not everyone participates in/on that thing. Are they going to have a website with info, such as the rules, schedule, results and any other info?

        Thanks John

I will be looking for the rules. I do not have a Face book account nor will i be getting one. If they are against having a web site maybe they could post results on here. I was told that only 4 mods ran the heats after the feature.

          just my thought

Maybe one reason they use facebook is because
1: theres about 10 times the people on facebook than here.
          2: its free, a web page isn't
I agree, i think the results and schedule should be posted on here also but hey, they raced 1 week right? Lets give them time. Also I hated the idea of heats last and still really think they should be first but as they explain it, there is some validity in their thinking,, I guess.

            I

strongly disagree Mr. Tuna. The rule changes.... the backwards heats....no fuel....25 lap features......I can go on but.... They are shooting themselves in the foot...rite out of the box

              Bronson Speedway facebook page

Bronson Speedway has developed a racer friendly race format. If you choose to race at Bronson Speedway you automatically have a guarenteed starting position in the feature event. Bronson Speedway will be starting all our shows with Feature Events. So for ...the Legend division, this week we will draw for position. Everyone qualifies. After all divisions complete their feature events we will go into the qualifying portion of our event. Qualifying after the feature is complete will guarantee your starting position in the next weeks feature should you decide you want to return to Bronson Speedway. For the weekly racer this is a win win knowing where you will start. For the occasional participant you also know you are in the feature, however the starting position will be behind the already qualified cars who support Bronson Speedway weekly. This formatt alleviates the issue of not making the feature due to a heat race wreck, all competitors are qualified in prior to arrival at the track. Sponsors are guaranteed exposure to a fresh audience, fans are treated to immediate excitement of a feature event and qualifying at the end of the event alleviates the need to purchase parts and make repairs at the track should there be budget issues. Taking a green flag in the post feature qualifying event guarantee's the following weeks event starting position. Win Win and cost effective. So come on out and experience Bronson Speedways high banks because action is the attraction.....

                In the last

5 years of racing mods at P.G. Citrus a-dale desoto. I can only think of one race that people qualified out of the nights race. And that was the 1 st eddie brann race. I think their was 40 cars. I commend you for looking out for your regulars but disagree with you keeping potential regulars from ever showing up. Have you changed your outlook on aluminum heads and fab. clips ?

Why run heats at all? Just use a point system to determine next weeks starting line-up. The one's that run the "Heat Race" may just sand bag for a chance to start up front the next week. Thats what I would do if they line up opposite the following week depending how you finish the heat. Are they paying money for the heat races???? As far as the Face Book thing it is too easy to get someones personal information. Face Book I feel is a big problem in the world today. Too dangerous!!!!

I believe there was mention of eventually making a website.
You should be able to access their rules without having a Facebook account
                      Rules

***Edit.....I just checked it while I was signed out and I don't think you can. Sorry!

I can copy/paste them here if you tell me the division you'd like.
