Columbia/ Lake City Asphalt has a new owner, the Nerones.
This should be really big news, but havn't heard a peep untill afterword.
New owners are nothing new, but nontheless, seems to be a focal point
of conversations on todays board: for example,
--Clewiston Speedway, whole new track
--WeWa, now North Fl. Speedway
--Auburndale, new promoters
--Charlotte Co., new promoters
--Bronson, Cope setting up shop
--Putnam Co, on and on
--Volusia Co., DIRT and Dick Murphy, on and on
These changes usually bring about mayhem beforehand, and praise afterword. But not this time.
Just seems that I, myself, have heard absolutely nothing about this changing of guards, ownership, etc.
Usually its a topic of great discussion on this here ol' board whenever an old raceway is about to change hands, but not in this case, it seems.
No dirt, no conversatons, no turmoil, no problems.
Smooth as silk.
And that's cool, just thought that there was some reasons behind it, thats all.
And I don't know what they are.
Ignorant me.
