    Larry Brazil, Sr. Passes

    Heard that one of our Tampa-area racing greats, Larry Brazil, Sr. passed away this past weekend... Larry won a ton of races at the Gate, Sunshine and other tracks over the years wheeling cars owned by Harry Campbell, George Rudolph and Curtis Smith among others...

    RIP Larry Sr.

    I recall that the St Pete Times did a story about his troubles and situation a couple of years ago.

    He was a fast, smart driver that didn't tear up his equipment.

      Yes Larry was one of the stars for sure. I enjoyed seeing him wheel a car around the track. I haven't seen Larry in a long time but he will be missed. My condolances to the family for their loss. Bob...

          he was a great race car driver won a lot of races and he very seldom ever tore any thing up rest in peace larry from ron abney sr family
