What a race it must have been. 24 of some of the best SLM drivers in Florida!!!. WTG WAYNE ANDERSON! I know you fought for it with Tim and Jeff close behind. Wish NSS wasnt so far away... ;-(

I will leave criticism of nss out of this and say it was a good race. Anderson mirror drove those last ten laps like crazy. Had the roles been reversed, timmy would have gotten moved.

Alan Bruns wreck was nasty..haven't seen one that rough in a while. Head on into the pit wall wide open and then end over end a few times. Glad to see him walk away.

The series is very competetive, I liked what I saw. It was my first of either fast or united promoters.

Tift had something for everybody, but did not know how to pass. When he pushed anderson down the front stretch and Anderson stuck his fist out the window, I was laughing my butt off.

Not the best LM race I've ever seen but it was reasonably competitive up front then a demo derby from about sixth on back... I figured the race was basically over when Wayne drew the pole but some of the guys gave him a run for his money... If it would have been anyone other than Russell, I think Wayne would have got shoved out of the way!
Bruns' car was absolutely totaled.. shortened the front end by about three feet.. thank goodness the old man got out OK...

They talk about Bill France weather, I say There must be Clyde Hart weather, Glad they got it in. looks like the threat of rain may of kept some of the local classes #'s down. Thats understandable. I can't believe Wayne Anderson held his fist out the window, not Wayne???

Yea, you knew Wayne was getting pissed because the guy was pushing him out of the turns and down the straights - giving him quite a handful. I was shocked to see Wayne come out of his shell like that and express his emotions....For once, I didn't disagree with him!

It's fun to imagine your eyes bulging out and the steam blowing out of your ears like a Roger Rabbit cartoon while you slam away at the keyboard.
I used to think you just couldn't spell but now I know it's just the frenzy of the moment that makes you spell like a dyslexic third grader. Slow down and proofread, Roger....there's plenty of time to pass CW for that top spot on the post counter.

And I truly hope you meet "bubba" in Ocala some night real soon....of course you may have to stop by NSS first, though......and if you do see "Bubba" (the owner of the track...y'know?....the radio guy?......tell him I said hello too.
