In Chicago visiting mother in law for the first time. Cab ride with AKNAD(?) was a blast! I wish I could sponsor him. We're on some freeway and I ask him if everybody always drives so fast(75 mph) and he says in not so good english," Yes, have you never heard of the African 500?" I almost peed myself from laughing so hard.
Driving downtown in "ma's" van and have learned quickly that "bobbing and weaving" is the way to do it. Been yelled at and flipped off! LOVE IT!!!

I know what you mean! The absolute craziest cab ride in my life was down Michigan Ave. on a snowy night. That crazy cabbie would routinely put the right side tires on the sidewalk to drive around other cars. By the way, the other cars were not going slow, he was just hauling butt! I was in the back seat rolling with laughter at that nut. I wasn't even in a hurry.
