OCALA Last Night

Thats the best way to describe last night at OCALA.... great racing... great staff, crowd and food (even with them running short with LONG LONG lines).. the crowd was the best I have seen at a short track and everyone was hungry.
Race program was well handled. I enjoyed every minute while there (and I got there early and left late). There sure was a ton of people that had to stand cause every seat in the place was taken... (now thats a great problem in my book)... cars were parked in every direction out on the hard road. Spoke to one gentleman (JOHN SMITH, Retired) that parked about a mile away.
Mike/Angie... congratulations on your first night in the DIRT.. it was great!
Oh yea JIMBO.. I got the impression Rich was "Not Happy" on the back stretch as well.

WOW!! Explains it very well. Its been a long time since I saw a crowd like that at a short track myself. They had the track prepared nicely. The stands were beautiful the gronds were well prepared. I have to give Mike and Angie
Kudos for their work. It deffently payed off. The only thing I saw was the fact that I had to drive so far after the races. Jim and I got home about 4:30
Other that that we saw some awesome racing. Kenny is to be congradulated on his work too. Our show went off almost without a hitch. We had some radio issues, but they have been addressed. I don't remember when I saw so many Late Models at a short track. Well I have to run, gotta go to ccmp and do it agin. All that couldn't make it missed a excellent show. Thanks Bob.........

PS: OSF I saw your truck there last night and wanted to come over and introduce myself but I didn't have time till late and then forgot. Winger it was good to meet you. ITs nice to put a face to the post. Bob........

A great night it was. It was nice to put some faces to names. I wish I had met more of you. I did meet Rick Anges, Jack Smith, Chaplain Bill, and Bob (FLVideo). Let me say that I watched Bob work for a large part of the day. He is a very professional person that is obviously passionate about the sport and what he does. It was an honor to meet him. I believe I must have been parked behind OSF because there was a truck parked in front of me that said Old Sunshine Fan on it. Wish I had seen you. I also had the privilege of meeting Angie and watching her and the whole staff work. Very nice people with a great future. Thanks for the experience. I should have pictures posted on the UDLMCS site soon. I'm in the process of putting them together and sending them to Kip at the site. In the meantime here are a few non action shots.
