I have been reading KARNAC for 8 years now....I posted my previous statement for the simple fact that I would like to see this site become what it was meant to be....An aid to short track racing in all aspects.......rather than the outhouse of Florida short track racing.....(which I have been a contributor)

I've been guilty too Tim. But, just tell me something, If all the big experienced racers are so happy why are there so many of them not racing. I mean Just a very few yrs ago, 2-3, there would be 30+ Super lates at the bigger races. The last one I went to there were I believe less than 20 starters. The racing was quite good up frone among 3-4 cars,but only 8-9 finished on the lead lap. What about the mods? 6-7 cars a race? The numbers dont back up what you're saying Tim. My only guess why, if its true they don't complain on here is because by the time they reached the top they've given up. And if the tracks are so perfect why are they doing so lousy? Do they have a suggestion box, granted 3/4 of the suggestions might not be good but I guarantee there'd be a few very good ideas. Guess the management don't want or think they need any suggestions, or else they already know it all.Tim you may not be doing it on purpose but you DO come across as already knowing it all and you're not even a track owner, do you work for FASCAR anymore? Seems some tracks that are doin good some aren't and if you really listen with an open mind it seems to me, just an outside observer now, the tracks doin good are the tracks that the racers say they are being treated best at. Just my observation.

I have never implied that the any track was perfect. I have simply tried to help people understand the complexity of owning one which I have had the unique opportunity to see without carrying the financial responsibility myself.

I'll try not to come across as a know it all anymore. I do try to explain REAL life experiences I have come across in this business rather than stating theories as fact.

Governors Cup had 48 entries last year. What other big race is played up as big in this this part of the state?

As far as racetracks not taking in suggestions, well anyone that has been around racing for any length of time knows that the statement "You know what you should do....." fly's around more than favortism(?). But I agree a suggestion box is a great idea, especially for the fan side.

I was just trying to lighten the impact of the HITLER reference in the video.
It has nothing to do with Hitler himself, or the atrocities he managed to pull off.
It could have been Mr.Burns from " The Simpsons"
or Mr Drysdale from " The Beverly Hillbilly's".
Maybe even boxing promoter "Don King"

It was just an attempt at Humor, Satire, Lampooning, to entertain the board readers while poking fun at the powers that be . Or used to be.

I'm sure Boneman doesn't mind Don's poking back. It gives us something to laugh about though , doesn't it ?

Very well stated! You are exactly right. The fact is that piece of video from the original movie is of a powerfully expressed rant, that also mixes in lots of different characters and pleny of dialog. The fact that it is in another language makes it ideal for sub-titles, so I didn't have to mess with dubbing audio. The whole thing took maybe an hour, and that included downloading the program to do it.
