Had Ryan Newman stop by the ISC Archives this morning as a part of his U.S. Army Media Tour here at DIS today... Really nice guy who is very interested in the roots of his sport... You may see something on TV about this later today as Central FL area stations 2, 6 and 9 were here... Also had several radio stations and newspapers with, of course, the exception of the woefully bad Orlando Sentinel... Juan Pablo Montoya was invited but didn't show LOL
An interesting item just made public today is that Greg Zipadelli may be leaving JGR and re-uniting with Newman's boss Tony Stewart...
Met some new media folks I had never met before and was good to see some old friends like Dave Rodman, Buddy Pittman and Pat Clarke...

Paper said Newman was to be on "are you smarter than a 5th grader? Can't remember when though.

He's probably one of the few that WOULD be smarter. Not that it matters, I guess.

Of the active full-time Cup drivers today, Newman is the only one with a college degree...
