who protects the leader

just wondering, is fascar tracks the only tracks around that do not protect the leader if he gets turned? I know every time I've been to citrus or auberndale and the leader got turned they always got the postion back as long as they didn't have to go to the pits for repairs. what do the other tracks do?

makes there own calls and I think protects the leaders.............Citrus both cars involved go to rear unless avoiding another car
