In 6 days (the 14th) I turn 16 and I need to get a job. I am hoping that I can find something around the Mulberry area. I am into racing and would like to find something in some type of shop. Right now in the summer I can work 48 hours a week. I want to try to get as close as that as I can because I am trying to save money to build a couple racecars so when I turn 18 I can start racing. Do any of yall have any sugestions please tell me. I am not like most kids my age I go to Summerlin Academy and have a high GPA. Please help me!

I lived in Imperial Lakes for three years 9th,10th,11th grade MHS.. I,M 36 know.. My first job was at Winn Dixe IT SUCKED.. Lasted 2 weeks.. I found a job at Fransiscos Paint and body in Lakeland.. They had a race car shop then where we built Mini stocks,street stocks, and sportsmans.. And worked on about everything.. Every weekend we raced a latemodel at A,Dale. I learned so much about race cars and building them it was great.. There is allot of racers in that area. If I were you I would look at every body shop auto repair shop I could find especially if there are race cars on the property.. The best way to get into racing is to be around people that do it and if you can get paid for it that ROCKS.. GOOD LUCK.Comment

Pay dont really matter if there is any racer that lives in south Lakeland/Mulberry that could take me under their wing and teach me the the tricks of racing I would be more than happy.Comment
