John, They are reffering to BIG ENGINE, Open Engine. Not a E-Mod engine.

Actually, I was referring to a Nascar type mod or SK, and not the Big Engine. John is correct about the "Florida", IMCA type mods being completely different. You might be able to use some parts but they're a different type of race car.
