I'd rather watch them but what would happen to all the mods in Florida now. Sorry, don't see it happening. My photo site: http://www.rewingphotos.com

I agree that they should evolve the Big Mods in Florida to SK rules. You could use most of the parts off a FL mod and put them on an SK chassis. I think Gary Fountain has brought this idea up in the past and even has one.
Keep the E mods as is and change the FL mods to SK mods. This would also allow some of the cars in the Carolinas to come down and run and vice versa. It would also help their car count during speed weeks.
They wouldn't complain about not having enough tire then would they?????

What happened to all the mods that were racing in FASCAR just 3-4 yrs ago anyhow? They sometimes have what 3-4 cars now and race about once a month?Originally posted by Winger View PostI'd rather watch them but what would happen to all the mods in Florida now. Sorry, don't see it happening.

"The car Gary has is a Super with a Modified body on it. High Dollar piece"
Dave... not sure where you got that idea, but that car is a straight up SK Modified. It was bought from Eddie Partridge during speedweeks, and the only thing that was changed (that I know of) was the paint. It left the property one night in TS Haulers colors, and came back the following day with Fountains traditional White & Red paint job, and a 33 instead of a 6.
I agree about high-dolar though. Those cars aren't cheap, but the parts are very available throughout the Northeast. Lots of used stuff on the market that can be had at a comparatively reasonable price.Last edited by Frasson118; 06-03-2011, 03:32 PM.

There is no such thing as a "Big Mod" in Florida. Not a one of the so called open wheel modifieds in Florida could hold an exhaust manifold to NASCAR Tour Type Modifieds like many of you have seen during Speedweeks at New Smyrna or on the TV show Madhouse which featured Bowman Gray Stadium, those are the real "Big Mods".Originally posted by fred23 View PostI agree that they should evolve the Big Mods in Florida to SK rules. What you are claiming as a Florida "Big Mod" is not even on par with a Northern SK modified, but more like an SK Light.

Reffering ? LOL ! The word is spelled referring. So who was your favorite ? Cheech or Chong ? Bahahaha ! I've been waiting to bust on you for your wiseass comment on my lottery thread. Laugh rabbitman, it's funny.Originally posted by dd38 View PostJohn, They are reffering to BIG ENGINE, Open Engine. Not a E-Mod engine.
