New Smyrna Speedway truck competitor Bobby Kennedy won the SPO class and overall both days at the May 7-8 SCCA races at Daytona in the BEMCO FAB, V8 StockCar.com Monte Carlo. Bobby qualified on the outside pole and was in the lead by turn 3, the international horseshoe.
The car is the #5 Monte Carlo built and prepped by Woody at Bemco.
Powered by a carbureted chevy LS1 making about 480 HP.

Note: polesitter Tom Keleher in a GT-1 Camaro broke the yoke on the rear causing his spin in turn one. He was back the next day, starting from the rear and came through to a fine third place finish.
