update on carol wicks

Carol is still in the hospital and will be for a while yet as her recoverery is not going well, she says it is but it is not. I Went to see her on thursday and she thinks she is doing better than she is. She is still having trouble breathing with all the congestion from the pneumonia so much so that she stops breathing when she sleeps (when she is able to sleep). I talked with her this morning and she wanted me to thank all of you who have called her to wish her well, it really does mean the world to her. She is in the room by herself and the phone calls she is getting really makes her day and makes the time go by. Please continue to pray for her as she has a way to go before they even think about letting her go home. Of course i had to give her the run down of our racing (CCMP) last night as her love for the sport and the drivers and her friends is always on her mind. You can call her still to lift her spirits and tell her how other racing went. 941-766-4122 direct line to her.

I wish you were reporting better news. I have not called her; its odd when someone is in the hospital because you don't know if they want to rest. However, since you said she is enjoying calls I'll make one to her.

She was a blast at the reunion and at NSS. Her good nature and sense of humor make for good company indeed.

I have not met Carol personally however prior to her illness I have spoken to her several times on the phone as well as during the radio show when her & Jack had this old fart on there awhile back.

Similar to my association with Bob / flvideo, I don't have to meet them personally to tell that they are good people.

I too have spoken with Carol at the hospital and she does not sound well.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Carol.
