Boy people really like to read my stuff,3799 hits 10 days, That has to be a record,How about say the Magic word's this weekend at Desoto Super Speedway front ticket booth and get in for free,''Carol Wicks Loves Desoto'' and bam your in for free,see ya at the races John.I hope all 3,799 come.People say whats on your mind.I will let you know how many came.

I just now saw this on a post I was told about. First of all John, PLEASE do not ever use my name to promote DSS! A few years back when Pletcher, Cope, BJ, Fontaine, Gossilin, and so many other great drivers raced at DSS it was the place to be. I went weekly and paid $75 per week to be able to get in the pits with Bobby & Hailey. I promoted you on radio shows and LOVED attending your track. When walking thru the pits we hugged, shook hands with and wished your racers a fun and safe race. We loved them and still do. I had always respected you and thought you took really good care of your drivers. Racing at DSS was so much fun.
Well the fun is over.... i think you are a conniving, disrespectful, man who is so full of hate or jealousy you speak without thinking and continually drive people AWAY from DSS. I bet if you left, the fans and the drivers would pack the place. It is an awesome track in need of repairs... has so many great possibilities....You have a great facility and a wonderful loyal staff... the problems are YOU!
As for me, i am not healthy enough to go to any track but if i were, i would positively go to PGS as it is affordable, and racing is a blast. Kevin and his staff have done wonders for the place. I am so happy Kevin hasnt been consumed by all the back stabbing BS going on to discredit him and his hard work to make PGS successful as a business and a place drivers and fans enjoy. He is far from perfect and he knows his faults but for you and to come on here and discredit him shows us that you are worried. Kevin NEVER comes on here to talk about you, Guy, or anyone else. Guy never comes on to bad mouth Kevin...Just you... that is so unprofessional.
I have heard the things you say behind my back. Heard about it from ppl you trust! roflllllll i never cared because none of it is true and you cant hurt me because i wont let you.
You are known for this" If you dont like it, get the F out of here"... now thats a way to keep drivers.
I would never have posted this if you hadnt USED my name .... i know you dont like me so why would you do that?
I apologize to the staff at your track and anyone else that read this and would be offended but I am really angry because i dont want ppl to think i condone your behavior or would go behind Kevins back to support you. If there was something worth supporting i might because theres plenty of room for 2 tracks to support each other instead of working so hard to ruin each other.
I dont give a damn what ppl on here say about me. i am honest and i have worked many many yrs. supporting this sport. Mostly for the drivers. So please John... dont use my name and for the sake of your track stop coming on here and making a fool of yourself. be professional .

Come on Carol, get a grip. John was having fun with the people. Everybody slams him all the time, and when he tries to have a good time, it is taken in the wrong way. You should feel proud that John knows that a lot of people know you and your love for racing. John meant on harm, so be nice and play well with others. i dont like being so negative but i know how John feels about me and for that reason i didnt appreciate him using my name to lure ppl to DSS... if he really cared, he would have called me and asked if it were ok... he had no reason not to call because until up to now we havent spoken at ALL. we used to call each other just to chat about racing. thank you for the good wishes Gene. you are a very nice man but why are you defending John. My post was addressed to him and if he cared about my feelings, he should have called.
I defended John for years when ppl talked bad about him. i felt bad when he had his heart attack and i sent a card and called Fabienne everyday to make sure he was ok... only to find out the man cant stand me. he didnt use my name out of respect. he used it for his gain without asking.
i said all i will say. in the scheme of life KARNAC is really not a priority in my life. trying to survive is. God bless you too. as i said, you are a good man. they are lucky to have you.

I'm confused.....96 ppl got in free because they read a KARNAC message board and learned that they could get in free if they said "Carol Wicks loves Desoto"? Carols pissed because John "gained" from it? Seems to me that the fan "gained" from it.

John I think you should cut Carol a commission check for a percentage of the "gain" that you made. Do the right thing John! lol

carol please tell us how john gained as you say by using your name. by my count he lost $1,440 in admission fees. like gene said it was a joke and it is obvious to everyone but you. you say that john is disrespectful and yet you defend a man like kevin williams and before that bobby diehl. what's that saying about glass houses and stones?
