Patrick, I heard you toasted two rear ends. How much gear oil are you running in them?

3 quarts of Mobile one synthetic. The first one was a bad a setup by me, the second was a borrowed gear, OUCH, the third seems to be fine, I used the prerace warmup to break it in, it was a brand new gear.

Dave give me a call I might need some gears setup, to try and eliminate this happening again.

          Thanks Patrick Thomas 25

I't not so cool as far as keeping the air intake protected. From the angle of the picture it looks like the tubing doesn't keep the inlet safe to well. I can understand trying to keep the cost down. That's the name of the game! I still wish they would stop looking like a LM's. And get back to looking more like the cars they were ment to be. But what do I know?

PT does have a not so stellar history with building rear gears........

I know from a fans view of point you pick 1.A car with your favorite color 2.A different looking car 3.The car starting first. With your body (witch I like) you pretty much have one of them covered. I was not at the track, was it fast?

The car has as much protection for the grill opening as any modified on the race track.

Was it fast, well in a word no, I mean if I would have come from 26th to first, instead of 26th to Third, and then got DQed for valve springs, then my answer would have been yes.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know, I can't build a gear and the realization is setting in that I might need to just pay somebody, and get it right the first time, But I'm CHEAP.

Inventions lead to new thought processes.

Patrick great job thinking out side the box. You should start a Aero Fab shop. You have always been the thinker. Looking forward to this new style to catch on. New Generation of Sportsman. HAMMER DOWN!!!
