Question About 4.6 96 TBird

Have a 96 T Bird 4.6 Strictly Stock.
On cold starts it sputters and shuts off then crank it again and it runs
but not very smooth.
It's sluggish when taking off and doesn't seem to be getting full power when fully accelerated.
Clears up after a couple laps but not 100 %
Have one fuel injector leaking...
does anyone know if that could be it or something else?

id do a fuel pressure test could be a weak fuel pump

I would look at the fuel pump also, I agree the fuel pressure test is the first step, but also do not forget to check the ignition system, one bad plug, a shorted wire, a bad coil, it could be a number of things, just start at the beginning......good luck!

It could be a million different things, start with the obvious, you already have one injector leaking. Fix it then go from there.

call me at 407.857.0042 and i will hook you up with the 4.6 geru. this guy has 100 taxis with 4.6 motors in them. if he cant fix it no one can !!
