I am surprised at the lack of buzz surrounding the United Promoter's LM series. Answer quick: where and when is the next race? I am betting you don't know, and I guarantee that I don't know either. For a group of promoters, why does there seem to be so little promotion?
Yes, the series details are on the FASCAR track websites. Maybe they are on other track sites too. But besides that, where is the interest, the discussion and the normal BS that goes along with racing in this state? The idea of the series has merit, and I hope it becomes a big deal.
So here is a chance for one of you would-be promoters to do something. Why not put together a resume, or better yet an effective plan of attack to generate some interest and ticket sales for this series, and send it to the UP group? What is the chance you would be hired? There is a zero percent chance, but I am more of a do something, do anything kind of person, and hope that something changes.
Will Bubba's team be this complacent? No, they will not. It doesn't matter that Bubba's show is on dirt and that the UP runs on pavement. Race fans just want to see a good show.
