It was another busy session. Not as many cars as last time but still a good showing. Sorry, but I didn't get a car count when it was all over so I can't give you an exact number, but I'll guess and say there were about 100 there. And as with the first practice, quite a large number of fans came to watch the practice too. The sprints were there and really took to the new track. A couple of folks with the sprint teams said that it looks like Ocala will be an excellent track for them and they can't wait to race there. The new frontstretch wall got tested and passed the test. You know if you put up a barrier at a race track that someone has got to test it, right? I heard a lot of very positive comments and also heard some suggestions as to how we could improve things even more, which I will pass on to Mike Peters. So now the practicing is done and the anticipation of opening night is growing. We'll see everyone on February 29th!

It was awesome! Sprint cars flat footed down the front straight all the way around until the score board in three. Late models three wide around three and four side ways, incredible. Hobby stocks four wide around one and two. Every division was fun to watch. The track went from table top smooth last practice to rough as a cob last night.
      Thanks to everyone.

The racers and fans were great too. I only observed one complaint to Angie........there were no t shirts his size for sale there. He needed a 6XL. I told him I could stretch it, but he didn't think so. Knowing Angie, she will have one when he comes back.
          See everyone on the 29th.
