Do you think if they inverted a big number of cars it would make a difference?
I'm a big Dave Steele fan and have a bunch of his t-shirts, but I know that he's one of the best in the country, let alone the state. I don't know that much can be done other than huge inversions in the TBARA.
I haven't seen a lot of drivers give him fits since Wayne Jr. and Sr. were running at the same time a couple of years back.
Welcome to Dave Steele Sprints Series he taking all your money, has his hands in the fuel and also the tires and not putting money into the point fund just his pocket.
Hey sprints #1, you throw stones every time the TBARA is mentioned. You are clearly partisan, and clearly not on their side. Lets just make that clear for everyone.
Since you want to support another series, I suggest you quit bad-mouthing this one, or at least back up what you say. I don't think you know what you are talking about when you make accusations like this. Why don't you explain in detail what is behind your annonymous critisism?

Sprint #1 if you know this club so well then you know our past president made a living from our club. We all voted for Dave to do the tires and fuel and would much rather give him our money then the clubs past. If you know the club so well ,then you know that the past TBARA supported more then just the club, how can you sit here and call our club out and dave out and hide behind sprint#1 and not put your real name on this. Your statements sound like your pretty close to the old TBARA.
I was impressed with Mark Gimmler and Jim Alvis, that's the best i seen them run.
I was rooting for Jim Alvis, he hasn't won in a while, look like he had a new car.
I DO know that Dave Steele and his whole family are honorable people. Should he start losing?
I also know that the former TBARA management was unchecked and unaccountable for many years, for point fund inconsistencies...thus the changes. Why do you think the former president's reaction was like it was? Makes you think, something to that?
It is what it is now...so let it play out....may the fans be the winners!
Well, the car count at NSS and Desoto was not the usual TBARA count for Speedweeks... Let's hope a few fences can be mended because I can assure you that several tracks will drop TBARA and their big money purse (which normally is well worth it because they have a loyal fan following) if the fields dwindle to the 15-20 range during the regular season.
It was good to see Sonny Hartley in a fast car again . also Joe "Dirt" Liguori racing sprintcars in FL. after a couple of years in midgets in the midwest.
what to you is a big money purse??? are you advocating sprint cars run for less money, like the other guys do? i believe that you have made a few bucks off the TBARA over the years...be careful of what you say...my friend.
Orlando Speedworld loses money eveytime the TBARA races there, but they are still on the schedule twice a year and bring in one of the biggest crowds of the year. Still, overall, it is a losing proposition for us. TBARA's car count has been what keeps the show going. The last four TBARA events at OSW have drawn 25-29 cars, more than most of the FASCAR traveling Series provide when they show up. I always have and always will support TBARA even if Pee Wee Herman is in charge of it... The Bob Luscomb/Billy Yuma Memorial was my idea and it's great to see it come to fruition... I'm sure Lenny will do a great job, but we'll have to see how he handles the situations and deals with the track owners and promoters... Their first race at Columbia should go a long way in determining how they'll do this year since they tend to have lower car counts there than anywhere else, mostly due to the travel distance...
