  • Very very sad news!

I just got off of the phone with Barbie Crews, she was the lady at the front gate selling tickets during my tenure at OSW and is now working in the bar. Her Mother Mary, the fiestly little old lady that used to take the tickets at the front gate has had a massive heart attack! They give very little to no hope for her recovery. This Lady LOVED OSW and it is with a very sad heart that I forward this information on to you. I will keep you posted.

PLEASE keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers!

    Thanks

That is sad news. She had always been a smiling familiar face, nice as could be, always smiling, and sweet as apple pie.

          She is a darling !

She always had a hug for me, and was always so sweet.

I am praying for her and Barbie, may God Bless.

Miss Mary passed on this morning at 5 a.m.
She left this world with both of her daughters holding her hands!

We miss and love you Miss Mary!

Very sad to hear, she always had such a sweet disposition about her.

At least she was surrounded by loved ones as she left us for a better place.

I spoke to Barbie this afternoon...she was in very good spirits all things considered!

There will be no public service for Miss Mary at this time, the family has opted for a very small family gathering to reflect back on the life of this great lady!

Barbie does not plan to be at OSW Friday night, but does at this time plan to be back with her racing family next week.

Mary was one of a kind, always nice, always smiling, always a good word for everyone. She loved her dog and she loved her family and she won't be forgotten. Heaven has another angel looking over Barbie now as Mary joins Ray. As long as we hold them in our hearts, they are never gone and I am sure they are both watching over their family and friends from above.

If there is anything you need Barbie, please let me know. Alex was very fond of Mary and was very upset when I told him. But we will always be here for you, anytime.

                      Love, Jane and Alex

So sorry to hear. I'm very thankful of the time I've been able to spend with Ray, Barbie, and Mary over the years at Orlando and New Smyrna.
