  • good Night of racing...

Another good night of racing at Punta Gorda. Over 100 cars and Packed stands. 8 classes heats and features done a little after 11. Good Job PGS staff. 2 blown motors with oil every where. Best broom crew around. 18 road Warriors, man what a race. Even the Bandolero's which only had 5 cars put on a good show. Bob....

Well I guess I have to go back to school. I went to the results and there was 81. The pits were full anyway. Thats how a preacher counts his congregation...
It was still a great night of racing....

6- 4 cyl cars drove in both the classes and 2-trucks drove in both..LOL
Still a good car count though..

Wow is it that important to pick apart the complete and final count for total cars at PGS guys, give BOB a break. Did any of you actually come to the track to enjoy the races, or can you only pick at optomistic posts from the luxury of your computer. You guys should actually do something constructive with your lives once in a while. We had 100000000000000 cars a PGS, had a great night of racing, and some unbeleivable racing with some cars running multiple classes. Drag your butt to the track and see for your self....smell the rubber, and burning fuel, not your own body odor.........................Then maybe you can have a true opinion that counts

I consider Bob a friend and wasn't demeaning him. I was picking on him though, as a friend might do. Last time he even unintentionally showed a low count of anything at Punta Gorda, he was out of a job.
BTW, look at some of the other threads. The car count conversation isn't restricted to PG. As a matter of fact, PG is used as a shining example of how a track should do it. However, for the life of me, I can't figure out why an average car count of 10 cars per class should be touted anywhere.

Bob I didn't take any offense at your post. Our count included Bando's and rookie trucks which both are always low count even at citrus. I estimated and I should have counted. The cars in our 2, 4 cyl classes are some the same cars but different drivers hence in my opinion constitute counting twice. At any rate the racing was good and the 2000 plus people we had in the stands enjoyed themselves and I trust the majority will be back this week to enjoy the good experience they had last week. I'm just saying..........
