Mother Nature Wins Night #5 at NSS...

Mother Nature is not being kind... Rain has been falling for about an hour and a half... with a whole lot more on the way...

Tonight's festivities have been canceled... the White Lightning National Antique Car Show & Race will be added to tomorrow nights lineup...

Join us tomorrow night for racing at 7:30pm... with the Super Late Models, Tour Type Modifieds, SK Modifieds, Florida Modifieds, Crate Late Models, Late Models and White Lightning Antiques...

Tomorrow is also the first night for 50 lappers with the John Blewett III Memorial - Tour-Type Modified 50...

Again, racing starts at 7:30pm... under the lights on the high-banked half mile!

Race Director's Scott Jackman & Butch Pierce would like to thank all the fans and driver's who have come out to support the 42nd Annual World Series here at NSS... so far, after 4 nights, we have been blessed with some of the best crowds and not just in numbers, but in character and spirit. Thanks again to all...

Well thanks for the kind and encouraging words... this is a new 'ball of wax' for me, so to speak... It has been pretty taxing on my voice over the first four days... but I can honestly say I am having a blast...

The fans and teams here this week have been awesome... and the racing has been really good too...

Four more nights to go... I am really looking forward to getting the regular season started... I think we will have a great time out here at NSS throughout 2008.

Well thanks for the kind and encouraging words... this is a new 'ball of wax' for me, so to speak... It has been pretty taxing on my voice over the first four days... but I can honestly say I am having a blast...

I was there for opening night friday and must say you DID do a good job of calling the races. Repeating driver names and numbers kept me well informed. Racing was good for an opening night except for the big wreck in crate lates. Tough break for those guys especially Cody Pitts who i thought had it missed. I was standing @ the pit entrance infield when he stopped on the backstretch against the wall, ( i was the guy letting the team know where the springs rolled to). weather they were his or not i don't know but it rolled out from under the 29 car.

BTW Teampitts. Nice paint scheme and car #....looked sharp. East bay was also good, just wished i could have stayed for the entire speedweeks like i used to when i was local.
