I walked in feeling kind of out of place last night, but I wanted to see how the first night went. A real nice field of Super Late Models 17 two heats and a feature. Decent field of modifieds, 8 pro-trucks, 6 mini-stocks had good racing though, the strictly-stocks were 17 or 18 by feature time and are always a show. Only 1 Legend showed they did not run it and 4 Bandoleros. It was good to see a good field of Super LM, now hopefully after some rough racing the count can stay up. There were a few opening night blurps, but over all it was good. Thank you to the drivers, crews and officials that had kind words for me. I really hope the track can turn around, I only wanted and want to help it. Some other divisions get there first night next week, Sportsman, E-mods and Super-stock hope they show up with good counts.

Nice job of OSW to already have their results on the website!!
Congrats to Jason Vail... I think this is his first SLM win at OSW but correct me if I'm wrong...
Honaker must have hit the lottery - he's got a Late Model!!
Interesting to see Pletcher in the field and Bartlett with a LM too...
I heard Boneman showed up late, started the Mini stock feature two laps down, but used the Lucky Dog to make those up and still finished fourth on the lead lap!!
What Legend Car showed up? From talking with the Legend guys last week, I don't think there is going to be much support for OSW again this year...

Dave, I wish it was as interesting as your story! Actually my new engine wasn't running 100%, and then it locked up. Its currently swinging on a chain in the garage. Not the best way to begin a new year! Oh well, at least we went out for a good dinner afterwards.
