Apparently city officials in Fort Wayne, IN are not going to name a new government center building after a former mayor...
His name (no joke) was Harry Baals...
I think the Harry Baals Center has a good ring to it...
Wonder if he and his wife had twins LOL
Can you imagine if your kid came home and you asked him where he'd been? "Oh, just hangin' out at the Harry Baals Center..."
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE - SAW IT ON THE NEWS TODAY... Funny as heck...

A vote was taken about the name to be given this center. Harry was a very long time and loved Mayor to this town. The vote came back at over 27,000 in favor and 5 against naming it after Harry. So much for what the voters want......

Yeah I guess......but Barack Obama is a funny name too in my book. I got a lot of grief over my name growing up......Higginbotham.
I think his name is pronounced more like 'Bail" rather than 'Ball' too. 2 'a's rather than 2 'L's......Just sayin'

u have a good point ....i heard this story on the news a couple weeks ago and to hear the media tell it its a funny joke ...... if it is pronounced "bail" then they should pertray it as such ....as far as barak "hussain"obama goes i cant belive he got elected 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
