The Punta Gorda Speedway would like to thank the Independent Pavement Sprint Car Association for the very professional show. The 20 teams in attendance were top notch. The racing was very competitive and the packed stands of fans were pleased. The PGS staff was amazed at how gracious and considerate the teams were throughout the weekend. We would also like to thank you for your cleanliness in the pit area as you guys cleaned up like you were not even there, that is great. Last but not least we would like to thank Tony Correno for his efforts to make this happen, his hard work and dedication to racing really shined. We would like to talk about a return visit to the South's toughest short track PGS. Thanks again!
