Well based on the push from Tripper, I went to VSP spent $41 and was not disappointed! I saw 7 or 8 mod heats that went off pretty cleanly, 3 or 4 B Mains for them - and a ton of WoO heats/mains. Bottom line is I saw great racing in nearly twenty races.
Stands were jammed parking all down SR 40 - I got there late and managed to find a spot right in the lot up close. Track was in great shape - surprising at this point.
I saw Rick Crawford and Randy Lajoie by the food area, they were talking with somebody I didn't recognize. They were in between me and a Pork Chop sandwich - my new favorite track food - I nearly bounced off them.
The Dude was flying last night winning the feature from the pole and never really being challenged Dollanksy hung there for 2nd and got close but traffic was where the Dude stretched it out. Schatz was mired back inthe pack but pulled a top 10 out of it along with Saldana. Pitman had a few words for Meyers after Meyers got forced high by a lapped car and took out Pitman.
Natalie Sather brought home a C Main win - who said she wasn't dialed in!
Ohh, I nearly forgot. The cold weather has wreaked havoc on the Barley Pop distributors. We still got the veteran down in turn 1 hawking her wares, but a whole new crew was under the stands - had the cold weather folks out. Although I didnt get down as much as I like because the stands were friggin crowded. Had too many oversized fellers in the undersized numbered seats. Oh and my new pet peeve are those damned chairs with arms and backs that people think are so dang cool to put in the crowded stands. Although there is a lady from somewhere up North who may want to call me about a paternity test for my knee.
