Is reds car a Studebaker?

Sure is... The '53 model was the hot set-up with a Chevy, Ford or Chrysler engine in it - very aerodynamic. Lee Roy Yarborough won one of the early 300's in a Studebaker-bodied car...

my brother don use to have a golden hawk when he was sixteen and i had 53 studebaker we drove on street bad cars in there days especilly when you put a olds or caddy motor in them with two fours

Wasn't the Golden Hawk Blown? Seems like I remember one in the early 60's that had an external Super Charger. I think there was also a silver Hawk.
