  • Sun - VSP or NSS?

Dilemma - pay $40 for the show at VSP - probably see more passing in the 8 lap heat than all night in the features at NSS - OR pay $25 at NSS and risk having a boring show. Friday's event was a snoozer - so much that i stayed home last night and took in the show at DIS.

Also, NSS says they have 4 features running tonight including the TBARA but missing the Tour and SK's and the Crate late models. Is that true trading three classes for one?

How was the Outlaw show last night?

Anybody that has been to both care to comment - I need some guidance - I am leaning to VSP but am afraid track conditions will be horrible.

I know - what a problem to have....

    Surely you jest.

Every night of the WoO has had tons of action, particularly with guys like Kinser and DeWease tearing through the pack.

Also, my man Bad Chad Layton has been giving the Outlaws fits every night. This is a small PA Posse team.

That or you can watch Dave Steele crush everyone, which you can see all year.

how is the track holding up? is it at all tacky and fast or hard and slick? I guess it doesnt really matter, they are good to watch even when slipping around.

dave steele will probably pound them...it just goes against my principles to pay $40 for a short track show.

Plenty of TBARA cars last night. DeCaire came from 10th to win the feature by a straightaway over Dave Steele, Teate was third and Bo Hartley fourth. No Butlers, imagine that...According to Boneman, Rod Anderson had a hard impact into the turn three wall during hot laps. He said it looked like the throttle hung open. Good news was he was conscious & alert.

Hey Haud, check out the Speed51 blog thing for yesterday. They mentioned the wreck and also some organizational issues for TBARA. Any of that play out that you could see?

Bubba, its my understanding that when Lenny Puglio was voted in as president of the TBARA everyone quit. So there was no TBARA Jeep, No red TBARA emergency crew and it didn't look like they had the scorers as well. Doug the flagman has gone back to flag at Ocala. Yes, they pushed off with four wheelers. Yes, it wasn't as tight as it has been. But looking from the stands, the cars were there and the racing was still good...I'm afraid this might turn into another CART/IRL stupidity.

Good luck to Lenny & the TBARA! I'll be there again tonight.

They have began a new series for the sprints called the Checkered flag wingless sprints. They started with their first show 2/2/08 at CCMP.
They put on a good show although they only started 10 or 11 cars. The winner I'm Not familiar with. I'll put a pic of his car in the pits before the races. Their jeep was there wingless, and it appeared their saftey crew was there also. The Butlers were all in attendance. Bob.........

Bob, that looks like David Slawiak's (spelling?) car.

Its more to my understanding that when Lenny Puglio BOUGHT his way into president of TBARA he wanted to get rid of the old and bring in new. The Jeep and red truck emergency crew was not the TBARA's and all those people done it for the club and was not paid for any of their services. When Lenny started buying votes, the fun left the club so they moved on to somewhere racing can be fun.

                    Sounds right

Haudfan, that name sounds right. I,ve got an interview with him after the race that I'd put up if I could figure out this dumb software. Let me re-phrase, if dumb me could figure out that smart software. I had a buddy show me how to do it, I put up a interview with Jeff Choquette and thats it. I can't remember how to do it agin. LOL! My wife says I wake up in a new world every day. That ain't so bad, you know? The Checkered flag Sprints will be back 3/1/8. We had those Champ Karts last Sat, and they started 31 karts. Turn 1 lap 1 was a mess. wasn't a pretty site. They went every where. They had to take one of them in that crash to the hospital, I talked to him yesterday and he said he hada broken Heel. That Slawieak kid seems like a nice kid, he was proud of the win. Thanks Bob............
