Where'd you come across this stuff? What happened to the Anderson/Choquette combo? I can't see carmichael/fritts and anderson getting along. Did Fritts/Carmichael part ways?
Man this opens a ton of questions...at least I wont be tormented about rooting for Jeff in the 92 anymore.
Carmichael is leasing Dickie's car for speedweeks. I won't tell you what he is paying. But most of us could race for 5 or more years. The owner of the 07 Guarenteed Concrete was going to sell everything after speedfest but I guess decided to continue on and Choquette was available.
They have over 170 cars registered as of Wednesday night when we dropped off our car. The pits were STUFFED full and thats with all the tow vehicles removed.
Great fields of cars at NSS too. The place is loaded with haulers, more expected today, not to mention the TBARA coming in on Sunday. Something like 28 Super Lates, close to 40 of the ASA-type cars, and a whole gang of Modifieds, although I'm not sure of the numbers for each class (Tour, S-K's & Fla. Mods).
I had to feel bad for the Perry family. In Modified practice, wife Shelly Perry lost it coming off of turn 2, where she got hit pretty hard by husband Butch. Seems like a low-buck team, and both cars are torn up pretty badly. Shelly's may come back together, but Butch's car needs a lot of work. Speedweeks may already be over for both of them.
If you don't see the 92 in victory lane this upcoming week it won't be because of the car as Dick's car has been bad fast at NSS for over a year, regardless of driver.
That's a mighty big gamble on Mr. Motorcross's part if you ask me.
Did the agreement also include Dickie in the pits, on the radio and working the remote control?
I agree with Trip and Bubba. I think he's in for a big letdown about his readiness level. ESPECIALLY if there is a big field of veteran talent at the track who are going to use him like a roll of Charmin.
Just got my wireless hooked up... this place is unbelievable... Cars, Cars and more Cars... as far as you can see...
Just to clarify... Butch and Shelly Perry are Father & Daughter... Dad's car is on the rollback... but they are working on the other 2... they brought 3 cars with them...
Qualifying is coming up this afternoon... still plenty of time to make it to the track.. you WON'T be disappointed!!!!

wife/daughter, whats the difference in florida. I though it meant the same thing.
Sorry, just had to make that joke before someone else got the chance. Sucks to see them both get torn up in the same incident in practice. Hope they get back in it.
