For which track? I know NSS has had a schedule up on their new site for a few weeks at this point (if not longer). Here is the link: http://newsmyrnaspeedway.org/newbeta/?page_id=297

And for prices check out their page titled tickets. Last couple of nights are $30, the rest of the week is less expensive.

      Wtf

I just came on here to post this, I'm glad you did....WTF!!?? Some of us have jobs and other obligations and need to know when we need to be there. Get your sh!t together and give us a schedule for practice times. I don't know whether to get there at 8AM or 3PM, and I have a 2 hour drive so its sort of a big deal. The above link just brings you to who is racing on each night, we need a full practice schedule like we had last year. I might also add that none of the NSS people have been available by phone over the last week. What is your deal?

        Whooooaaaa...easy there, Trigger...

I'm *pretty sure* every track (just about) has a Web site - and a phone number. KARNAC ain't the only place to find info on who's racing what where and when.

Not *every track* is going to post *their* track schedule and times on *here* (on KARNAC). You have to do some searching yourself:

        New Smyrna Speedway: http://newsmyrnaspeedway.org/newbeta/

        Ocala Speedway: http://www.ocalaspeedway.com/

        East Bay Raceway Park: http://www.eastbayracewaypark.com/

        Volusia County Speedway: http://www.volusiaspeedwaypark.net/i...tpage&Itemid=1

Every one of those tracks' Web sites has a "Contact Us" page with a phone number and a mailing address. The officials at the tracks don't all get on KARNAC to see what race fans are complaining about and why they can't get in touch with the track.

Get off of KARNAC, do some searching yourself. Took me all of five minutes to find all those tracks' Web sites. If you knew you were going (to watch or participate), why wait until the day before Speedweeks starts to bitch about "what time I need to be there"? Why didn't you look up this info like three weeks ago or earlier?

speedweeks is here and why is there not a time schedule posted anywhere?

Again, not every track has an official that gets on KARNAC. Look at the tracks' schedules, call 'em up, get in contact *WITH THE TRACK(S)* to find out the information. And if they don't answer the phone, send 'em an e-mail, snail mail, whatever, if you want to get in touch *with the track*.

Bitchin' about this stuff on KARNAC ain't gonna get you the info you need.

I'm pretty sure that this week when all of speedweeks gets going it just slipped their minds (THE TRACKS I MEAN) to pick up the phone and personnally call him to let him know start and practice times after all the practice is FREE and we wouldn't want to waste anyones precious time driving to practice. Like Jimmy said get off your soap box and looke it up the rest of us did.

After all it is sort of a big deal!!!!!!!!!

I guess you didn't read what I wrote.

I did try calling several times over the last week, and I went on the website every day to check (over the course of the last two weeks) and there is no schedule for what time the gates open, what time racing starts, what time practice starts, etc. This kind of information should be available to the drivers.

I didn't post on here to argue with people, I came on to find a schedule for speedweeks and in my opinion NSS should have it posted somewhere...thats all I have to say.

And again, gripin' about in on here ain't gonna get you anywhere. With all that's going on at the tracks this week/month, *someone's* got to be in the track's office somewheres. Like I said, they ain't gonna all sit behind a computer and read KARNAC.

*Maybe* you'll get lucky, and someone'll post what you need. Try getting in touch with Mark Keeler (VoiceofNSS on here), and see if he's got any info for you. And again, there's *contact info* on each of the tracks' Web sites. If they don't answer when you call....leave a voicemail with a call-back number...send an e-mail...

Why'd you wait so long to try and find out pertinent information like this if you knew you were going/racing, and it's the *day before* the World Series starts? That's what I don't understand. Most everyone on here knows/knew what the times for practice/gates opening are before now...and like I said, maybe you'll get lucky and someone'll post it for ya...

Jimmy, Trust me, NSS management knows every word that is said on here, I know from experience. Its to them to market their product and MANY people are on KARNAC daily. If I was selling a racing product it would darn sure be advertised here, I would not expect the public to "do some searching" to find out whats going on. Sure theyre busy, they better be, if they dont make it during Speed Weeks, they probably wont make it all yr.

I agree. The last timed I called track the machine said "Leave a message, we will call you back". The ONLY return I ever received was back when Joe Lewindowski, I calle him and said i might want to sponsor something, other than that i never got a call back from anyone. You can bet your last dollar I return calls to my business. Maybe its differant now, I'm speaking a couple yrs ago.

                      Hey Tunafish,
I wasn't calling out New Smyrna. I said "Not *every track* has an official on KARNAC". Wasn't relating specifically to *just* New Smyrna. The two guys that were originally asking for info didn't specify *what* tracks they were looking for, so I posted links to the tracks that I know are running this week and next week.

The only official I can think of that comes on here from New Smyrna - once in a great while - is Mark, which is why I suggested they get in touch with him. He may - or may not - get back to them; I don't know. I've never had to call a race track to find out. If I know what time the races start for Speedweeks (say, *for example*, 8:00pm), and I'm a participant, I'd get there around noon. If I'm a fan, I'd get there around 5:30-6:00.

NSS management knows every word that is said on here,
I highly doubt it. Again, Mark's the only one I've seen on here on a regular basis (maybe Kim, but *very* rarely), but I wouldn't consider Mark "management". Employee, yes, but he doesn't run the show.

NSS Speedweek schedule has it posted out way back last year around Christmas, I`d did my printout sheet for NSS speedweek was way back 12/2/2010. I`m still looking at it, but can`t go there this year. My car not ready.
