Travis Pastrana video - hilarious

There has been some discussion here of Travis Pastrana and his interest in auto racing. IMHO this guy could be a tremendous shot in the arm for our sport. He is a showman, and he has a huge following among young people. Travis made himself famous with his abilities in the X Games, in motocross, ramp jumping, crazy stunts and his Nitro Circus TV series.

Anyway, here is a short video that is worth checking out. He is the kind of showman that we desperately need in our sport. We are all sick of sponsor spouting robots. I hope Travis Pastrana's tenure in our sport is long and successful!

If you watch some of his attempts/successes/failures you will quickly realize this guy is straight crazy. There won't be a situation on the track that he will be afraid of that is for sure.

I have had the pleasure of meeting travis and i will definetly say he is one crazy individual! funny as hell too! he will be a very good thing for the sport!!! go travis...

He ran the Big Car (USAC Silver Crown old gen cars, at the time) race at USA International and while he didn't set the world on fire, he did keep his nose clean, kept pace with the field and did a nice job. I always thought he would have made a fine pavement sprint car driver, possibly dirt too.
