Saw these guys in the Dunkin Donuts in DeLand this AM. Looked like they were headed to VSP. I can't claim to know the sprints like alot of folks round here - but I think it was Chad Kemenah's team. Real nice hauler and motorhome.

Yep, that would be Kemenah's team, headed to VSP. They will be following the entire Outlaws Tour again this year, after a rough year in '07. I met Chad and his crew a few years ago, and they were all real nice guys. Although it is a different team now, I believe most of them came over from the Harble 15k team that he used to drive for.

Replaced Zach Chappell in that ride after Chappell got hurt midway through the season. Had some decent runs but not really a top flight team. Chad's a good shoe and a good guy. Wish he had a better chance to shine. Hope he proves me wrong.
Counting down the hours to the "Real Speedweeks."

I hear ya, I have been working from home today to be closer to the track when i head out, and it is killing me to not run out there and take a look. Last thing I needed was to see a bad-ass hauler sitting there at breakfast, full of Wings, Big Rubber and Horsies....

Chad's brother Brian is no longer his crew chief. I thought Chad and Brian had a really good chemistry and Chad hasn't set the world on fire without Brian. Chad is getting alot of help from his pa-in-law Bob Hampshire that owned the 63 that Hewitt and Wilson drove."That man right there is the best sprint car driver in the whole ---damned country!" 1974- Indianapolis- AJ Foyt pointing out Jan Opperman in the garage.
