Thanks for the updates and thanks for the link. Just finished listening. Planning on taking my daughter Friday night. It will be her first time watching the dirt late models. Hope they don't disappoint.

Winger... they will NOT disappoint! It's a great track to see the most exciting division of short-track racing today. Make sure to sit near turn 1 though. For a first-timer, getting clods of clay thrown at you all night (which happens in turn 4), it may turn her off before she gets a chance to see how exciting these cars are.

And get there EARLY. The Friday shows completely pack the stands, and you don't wanna get stuck standing. Look forward to a great show!

            Jerry,
Thanks for the advice. I tend to sit in Turn 1 when I don't know a track. That's where I sat for the sprints and saw a good show. I was high enough so most of the clay missed me. I've got to pick my daughter up from college in Sarasota around 5. That will get me to the track around 6. I hope that's early enough. BTW, would it be worthwhile to bring a scanner with me?

I wouldn't bother with a scanner as I don't believe Lucas allows them for the drivers. All you would hear is the track officials and Raceciever.
