John raced a Classic Car until he was thrown out of the Series for "running unapproved equipment." He drove a Modified for a guy name Martin T.... (I won't even try and attempt the spelling)....

Dave, that is right. Martin's last name was devoid of vowels. It looked like something Don N. would have typed. Anyway, I met those guys when they were running that car at NSS, and was surprised to hear that he went on to buy De Soto. Wishing John a quick recovery!

I just got off the phone with John's wife Camille. All is well with John I won't go into details but they know what happend and he will be fine. He is as I type this at the track getting everything in order for opening night in 2 weeks. Just wanted to update everyone...

Yes Bonie , he did. He also crewed for me in 96, or was it 97 (can't remember) when I won the Dick Joslin Memorial.
