spThat is cool . I attended back then but don't remember the hats, dId you know East Bay was called Florida National Speedway in 1987, the ad said they had dirt figure 8 s.

yes east bay ran figure eights

they were really fast and dennis abney started in rear and won the first one they had and rusty crews went half way up the light pole what a wreck got hit in x neither car lifted

I never got to see them .I was watching Elmer Seifert and them race Sunshine figure 8 s.

I didn't go to Eastbay much back then either Gary. I was at Desoto every week but I do remember the name. Those Figure eights you spoke of raced at Sunshine and beat foot down to Bradento and raced agin down here. I just got an old video out yesterday from Sunshine. 1990 I think. That was just after Stimuses run at Desoto. When Tom closed I went to Sunshine till Dwayne Music bought Desoto and I went back there. I'l put some of the races from sunshine on u-tube when I get the time. Bob...
