152 cars signed in for practice. Track was in great shape considering it was the first time any race cars were on it.

Hmmm.. Lets see.... 152 cars divided by 7 cars per class; they will have to run 22 classes! Pure stock, thunder stock, street stock, bomber stock, 4 Cyl. pure stock, enduro stock, Road Warriors, Cowboy Cadillacs, 360 sprints, 360 wingless sprints, limited sprints, wingless limited sprints, SLM, crate LM, limited LM, limited crate LM, modifieds, crate modifieds, UMP modifieds, midgets, dwarfs and another short guy class.

What a show! I bet they could run until 4 in the morning.

Interesting Math

Actually 153 cars. 28 late models,about 20 mods,hobbys,some street stocks,gladiators.and thunderstocks. 3 small sprint, 1 winged sprint, and 2 legends. Not a bad mix. Went through the line up about 6 times with 6 or 7 cars each, and about 8 to 10 laps each. All in 5 hours.
only one accident.....a late model roll over.
