A big thank you to the track owners who came tonight... Robert and Mike.. It was awesome seeing you there and hope to see all of you this season... We as racers, crew, and fans thank you very much.. Many rewards to both this fine season..

Agreed Duane, it was cool to see them both. Mike Peters "got" the event and came to have a good time. He did too! Mike raced and visited all night. He even paid the round where he and 9 of his dirt driving cohorts were determined to gang up on Ocala Jim and I. Hey, how did that one turn out anyway?

There were warmer and more comfortable places for Mr. Hart and his party to spend the evening. I guess next year we have to put in an executive suite. Kidding on that one, it looked to me like Robert came out to enjoy some stress-free time with his racers and fans, so I think he understood it too.

Yes it was a blast. I got somw good shots and took some good shots turned the wrong way. I'd guess wrong way corrigan had nothing on me. Thanks Rex for putting that together for the racing community. I saw some people I hadn't seen in years and met a bunch more new ones. I will sort thru my video this week and see what I can make of it. Bob.....

Next Year...

the media needs to figure out how to mount an in car video camera....or helmet cam........yeah thats the ticket. Then several drivers could wear it.

hey i am one of those ocala speedway dirt criminals and distinctly remember getting wrecked by you asphalt drivers. lol was a great time and i got to say thanks to boneman for putting on that shindig. had a great time. thanks jason brown.
