"Yep,thats my boy's car"(pat myself on the back) "he does the tires for that team"(proud, smiling daddy)

But really. I still haven't come down to earth yet. I never knew another 17yr old with so much responsibility. The race was grueling, the team and team work were almost choreographed, and the checkered flag was very emotional. I am still gathering my thoughts.

Jack. I though you didn't have tickets. I wish you had come by our pits to formily meet you. Haven't I seen you at some ASA races?

I don't see any donuts on any of those door panels.......didn't any of em rub a little when they were lapping each other?

And in victory lane....sorry...on the "podium"....do they make them hold the champagne bottle with their pinkies sticking out?

And is it like the Olympics where they play the national anthem of the winner's country....or is it a mixture from each of the 7 or 8 driver's countries?.......

        Just askin...........

Here is a link to some pics from the week before Christmas when Orbit got the new chassis for the 24. My son and the crew put in many hours. It was a great effort. I am still waiting for the pics from the pits. They tested the car the first week of Jan at Sebrings.

Canedog, I guess you didn't get pics of our car after the race. It didn't look as good as it did at the top of the page but man what a pretty site it was crossing the finish line. I will put up the team photo of the whole crew on the car after the race when it is available.

Damn those valets at the restaraunt......

The first pic must be where the green card carrying nanny scraped the mailbox while backing down the 4 mile driveway on her way to take the kids to the helipad for their morning flight to daycare......

The second pic I can only imagine that the low-income, beer swilling dropout at the garage must have overfilled the crankcase with oil when he was servicing it for the ice cream social that weekend at Congressman so and so's mansion.....

The third pic....I dunno.....looks like he uses the same garage as the second guy but when he stopped off at the club, the ignorant valet must have backed into someone's Bentley.........

The fourth one?....well I guess the lesson here is never....NEVER......try and spread the Grey Poupon while negotiating a hostile takeover of another one of your Wall Street buddies Fortune 500 companies while trying to text on your Blackberry to your crew chief about what shade of chartruese you want the pin-striping your pit crew's matching Sparco firesuits to be.

ALWAYS let one of your team managers take care of those big decisions....

Cheerio! See you at the Polo grounds.......

WOW, this is an oldy but goody. Those were good memories. Don't really know what you mean when you say "Porsche model". And as far as Porsche performance parts. The chassis come from Porsche bare and than we prepare the the cars piece buy piece to our specs. That was our 2008 997. It was the baddest of the baddest at that time. We set fast time overall in practice and qualified 4th of over 50 cars in the Rolex 24.

Thanks Bobby. You know we appreciate everything that you did with the FAST series so we could have a place for our kids to hone their skills. We have been very proud of Dustin racing accomplishments but we may be even prouder of him now. After a full year in collage for mechanical engineering Dustin is still on the Dean's list with a GPA at 3.875. That's my boy!!!!!

Bobby. Post up your Email address here and I will send you a sneak preview of Dustin's 16 page sponsorship package that his marketing firm has put together for the Camping World Series for 2012. It is not for the public yet but you can tell us what you think of it. Grade it for me from 1-10.

Don't come on this site to much anymore for obvious reasons but it was nice seeing this old post. It is 3 1/2 years old.

                              Thanks
                              Andrew
