"The Voice of NSS". Congratulations Mark, you will be excellent. Are you doing the World Series by yourself?

Thanx Boneman... I will be doing the World Series along side someone I consider an idle of mine from my days up North... Ben Dodge will once again be back as the voice of the Tour Type and SK Mods...

I honestly couldn't imagine sitting next to someone who, as an announcer and general promoter, has meant more to the sport of Short-Track Racing than Ben has... back to his days at Riverside Park and on up to today... he was the originator of the Short Track Racing TV Show back in the early 90's on NESN in New England, and he continues to bring an energetic level of professionalism and enthusiasm as well as knowledge to EVERY event that he announces... It will truly be an honor to be beside him in the Tower...

It's gonna be a good time at NSS this year!

Yeah, Ben Dodge is cool....not a screamer and very professional. I hope the sound system is operating well enough to hear both of you. Can't wait for the World Series!

I used to love taking my mini stock up there for a few nights. But our car count dropped way off and we got booted from the show.

Always enjoyed working with Ben Dodge... He's a huge help, not only by his knowledge of the Mods but it gives you a well-needed break each night... By the time you get to night 7, even a "golden" voice starts to get a bit rough lol...

Is this for the whole season or just speedweeks? If it is for all season, will you be doing the TV show?

I am the Voice of NSS for the Whole Season [I even changed my Screen Name for it!]... as for the TV Show... Buddy Pitman veteran sportscaster from WESH 2 is the new host of FASCAR This Week...

Those of you who remember Buddy from his days at Channel 2 will remember that he used to highlight the local short-tracks on the Sunday Night Sports show... He has never been a stranger to the Short Tracks and will bring an unbelievable level of professionalism, knowledge and personality to the show...

We've been saying it all along... 2008 is gonna be GREAT at both NSS & OSW... I can't stress it enough!

I'm happy to say that Mark is the new full-time announcer at NSS... well-deserved... Former WESH TV-2 sports anchor Buddy Pittman is now in charge of the TV show... Buddy is a huge race fan and this will only make the show tons better... He was at lakeland shooting video and doing interviews Saturday...

Awesome news on both fronts! Buddy P will do wonders with that show. He was the only local sports director to broadcast the local scene.

Congrats Mark, I don't know you except from on here, but you will do great.

How can I get ahold of Ben Dodge? I'm hoping he'll spend a little time on the mic at the Reunion. Mark... you gonna put in some mic time also? You know a lot of the New England stuff, where I may fall a bit short. I can handle the NY guys, both dirt and asphalt, but New England and Long Island, I could use some help with.

Is the P.A. system all tuned up and ready?

Buddy P. is a great guy! Met him one night at OSW when they had the sports announcers in a demo derby. After my husband was involved in a crash during a spectator race at NSS, Buddy came by where he worked at on Monday to meet him. My husband even autograph a piece of the other drivers car and gave him.
