Racing Plans for 2011

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is the "Blast"?

Ol'-skool Racer Reunion type thing at Citrus County, I believe. The first year, it was held at Lake City (Columbia), then last year, it moved to Inverness. So this'll be the third year. I haven't really paid much attention, but I haven't seen a date for this (upcoming year's) Blast from the Past. Guys like Bobby Brack, Jim Fenton, Jimmy Cope, Cush Revette...(those are the only names I can remember...LOL...)

Blast - if I remember correctly - I read March 2011 at Columbia.

Maybe I will have to check with this Stu guy about a race car.

Blast From The Past III will be at Columbia Motorsports Park in Lake City again on March 6th 2011. It's a Sunday. Regular racing on Saturday March 5th and camping overnight for the Sunday Blast. Racers 60 years old and up will have their old cars there to race and talk about the old days....Lots of fun and fellowship...

I will be kicking the 2011 racing season off with The World Famouse Swamp Buggy Races Jan. 29, 30. The going to Eastbay IN Feb on a Saturday Night and then Back to the swamp in March

Nothin Darren, it's just a word I picked up hangin with Bubba The Love Sponge, it kinda rubbed of. Stu's a good dude, I worked for him and with him at another school for several years. I'm not real sure if he's still doing the school but it's worth a shot.

I think something will work out. He is planning to get a pavement sprint in a month, and he knows some people who may rent me a limited sprint at East Bay. Its a bad time of the year to arrange racing, but hopefully it'll happen this year.
