January 15, Little 500 Night

The World Championship edition of Little 500 Night is on! I've found the "deadest" race night of the year, so hopefully there will be no real racing scheduled for the same night.

As always, everyone is invited and everyone is welcome. It will be tough to beat last years edition when we had SLM, sprint and race drivers from all classes, officials, crew members, owners and fans from all over the place.

It looks like 1-15-11 is the best night because look at how full January already is: 1-8 is the Red Eye at New Smyrna, 1-22 is the FASCAR banquet, 1-29 is Monster Jam in Orlando. If I am over-looking something on the 15'th, let me know!

No big changes are planned for 2011, its still all about maximum fun and minimum organization.

I really hate to say this but unless the FAST series party gets rained out I will not be in attendance at the Lil 500. I might try and stop there on the way home from the party as I am sure you still still be there or at least in the parking lot eating the Publix sandwich ring.

Sorry to hear that Mike. The FAST party is the first conflict that I've heard about. I guess there is no perfect, race-free night.

You could always hand out a few single use cameras, ditch them early and come race with us!
